In embracing an esthetic perspective that dares to challenge common-place standards, Piero Massaro presents a collection in which eyewear becomes an extension of nature, continually evolving in form and color: a flower blooms, the sun sets, clouds chase after one another.
The designer invites us to stop and contemplate the spectacle offered each day by nature. His precise intention is to communicate values and emotions by way of the objects he creates.
New geometries take shape and interchange playfully in the transparency of the acetates. Set between the front piece and the shaft is a small cube of acetate in contrasting color; the overall effect is both out-of-the-ordinary and harmonious.
As always, the collection offers a limited number of items; each item is numbered; and the shafts are furnished with a patented “bayonet-zip” device, now an integral part of each collection.
